The California Research Library got into the act back in 1997 with the publication of their report, “Ferrets: a Selective Overview of Issues and Options.”
This report is generally pro-ferret legalization and Kenneth Umbauch later reported he was threatened with termination over its publication.
It wasn’t enough to move ferret legalization issues much in our favor, but we do appreciate an honest look at the issue.
