New legislation can be introduced into either the Assembly or State Senate around the middle of January. 

We need people from inside any particular district to coordinate the efforts to deal with the legislator and ask they introduce a ferret legalization bill. Our goal is to have information on each legislator and people within the respective district to contact them.

A lot of legislators will have discussions with their constituents about legislation to introduce. Please get on your assemblymember and state senator’s mailing list and look for that announcement.
