Take the opportunity today to join this important movement.  If you are a resident of CA who has been affected by this ban or a ferret lover who wants to support other Californians, please join our cause.  With your help, we hope to be able to complete an Environmental Impact Report and share it with the proper authorities in order to prove once and for all that ferrets should be able to join the ranks of other beloved pets!

A little History on the 3000 Club

The 3000 Club was originally for people who would pay ten dollars and try to solicit 100 signatures if we filed a ballot initiative. Our survey from Field Research unfortunately showed only 38% of Californians supported legalizing ferrets. People don’t understand what a ferret is and we don’t have the budget to change misconceptions.

With more research we learned California is banning ferrets based on old, flawed research. The facts don’t support banning ferrets; in fact it is in the state’s best interest to allow Californians to own domestic ferrets. With Californians already the number 1 buyers of ferret supplies and ferrets already here in large numbers, the ban obviously isn’t working. It is causing hardship to Californians and hampering animals rights and regulation.

In addition studies consistently show ferrets posing no threat to the environment, agriculture or public health. Common sense should prevail and ferrets need some sort of legal status in this state.
Joining the 3000 Club gives you the opportunity to join this important cause.
